Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has arrived in Wales to join Ghana’s preparations for Tuesday’s international friendly against Wales and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Manchester City star became the latest player to report to camp, taking the number of players currently with the team to 25 as preparations gather momentum ahead of Tuesday’s encounter at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Semenyo arrived on Saturday evening and quickly integrated into camp activities, participating in a mini-golf session with his teammates at the team hotel on Sunday morning.

The forward is also expected to take part in the squad’s evening training session at Dragon Park as head coach Carlos Queiroz continues to fine-tune his team.

The Black Stars have been steadily assembling their squad in Wales, with several key players already involved in training sessions as Ghana steps up preparations for both the friendly fixture and the upcoming FIFA World Cup campaign.

Among the players currently in camp are captains Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey, as well as Inaki Williams, Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Antoine Semenyo, Caleb Yirenkyi, Christopher Bonsu Baah and Brandon Thomas-Asante.

Goalkeepers Benjamin Asare, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Anang and Solomon Agbasi are also present, while defenders Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Mumin, Jerome Opoku and Jonas Adjetey continue preparations with the squad.

Midfielders Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo and Paul Reverson have also reported, alongside striker Prince Kwabena Adu and versatile defender Marvin Senaya.

Ghana will take on Wales in an international friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in what is expected to provide a valuable test for the Black Stars as they continue their build-up towards the FIFA World Cup.
