The Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association (GREPA) has officially installed Emmanuel M. Tawiah as its new President, marking what the association describes as a pivotal step in its institutional development following a leadership transition and governance restructuring process initiated by its Board.

The installation ceremony was held on Saturday, April 19, 2026, at the Lancaster Hotel in Accra, bringing together real estate professionals, board members, and industry stakeholders in what GREPA framed as the opening of a new operational chapter for the association.

Tawiah is the Founder and Managing Partner of Goldenpage Realty, a real estate brokerage and investment advisory firm based in Accra. He brings extensive experience across brokerage, property management, and strategic leadership, having previously held roles with i2 Development Ghana Ltd and JL Properties Ltd, where he contributed to sales strategy and market development for residential and mixed-use developments.

Speaking at the ceremony, GREPA Founder and Interim Board Chair Mrs Victoria Osei Sampah said the association is entering a phase she described as one defined by “accountability, execution, and institutional discipline,” emphasising that the installation represents more than a change in personnel, but a renewed commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and measurable impact across the real estate sector.

In his acceptance remarks, Tawiah reaffirmed his commitment to working with the Board, members, regulators, and industry partners to advance GREPA’s objectives.

Speaking on behalf of members, board member Nana Noi congratulated the incoming President and drew attention to the international dimension of his role, noting that GREPA’s networks and relationships extend beyond Ghana’s borders. She called for open communication between leadership and membership and pledged the Board’s continued support.

GREPA outlined several priority areas under the new leadership, including regional outreach programmes, professional standards advocacy, licensing compliance support under the Real Estate Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1047), capacity building initiatives, and the integration of technology and innovation into real estate practice.

The association also reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration with the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC) and other stakeholders in building a transparent, ethical, and globally competitive property market in Ghana. GREPA noted that the leadership transition is part of a broader institutional strengthening initiative focused on governance reform, committee activation, and long-term sustainability.
