Ghanaian club Nations FC have officially announced the appointment of experienced Croatian tactician Zdravko Logarusic as the club’s new head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
The club confirmed the appointment on Monday, entrusting the vastly experienced manager with the responsibility of leading the team into a new era as they prepare for domestic and continental assignments.
Logarusic arrives at Nations with more than two decades of coaching experience, having managed clubs and national teams across Africa, Europe and Asia.
His extensive resume and familiarity with Ghanaian football are expected to provide a significant boost to the club’s ambitions.
The Croatian is no stranger to the Ghana Premier League, having previously coached King Faisal, Asante Kotoko SC and AshantiGold SC.
During his previous spells in Ghana, Logarusic earned a reputation for his tactical discipline, player development and ability to build competitive teams.
Beyond club football, the experienced trainer has also served as head coach of the Sudan and Zimbabwe national teams, adding valuable international experience to his coaching profile.
His work across different football cultures has made him one of the most travelled and respected coaches on the African football scene.
Nations believe the appointment reflects the club’s determination to strengthen its technical department as preparations continue for the new campaign.
The club will be hoping Logarusic’s experience and leadership can help build on recent progress and establish Nations among the leading forces in Ghanaian football.
Supporters will now be eager to see the Croatian begin work with the squad as pre-season preparations intensify.
His immediate task will be to assess the playing group, implement his football philosophy and prepare the team to compete strongly in the Ghana Division One and return to the top-flight as soon as possible.
He will also look to defend the FA Cup title the club won last season.
