Residents of Santasi Apire in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region have prevented a family from burying a seven-year-old boy near a river in the area. The family had dug a hole near the river in an attempt to bury their child on Saturday, September 6, 2025, but residents intervened, citing that the location was not a designated burial site.
