The Zabarma and national peace Ambassador, Alhaji Mohammed Alhassan has called on the youth to celebrate the Eid Mubarak festival in modesty.

According to the peace Ambassador, Alhaji Mohammed Alhassan, Muslims have gone through the annual 30-day fast and it should serve as reflection on all the negative side of life.

He said similar calls came from prominent Muslim leaders like the national chief Imam, Dr Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the national president of council of Zabarma chiefs, Alhaji Musah Yahaya Yandu, central region chief, Alhaji Baji, council of Zabarma chiefs chairman in central region, Alhaji Haruna, Sarki Zabarma Kasoa Gariba, Alhaji Amiru and Sarki Zabarma Gomoa Fetteh.

He emphasised that Salah should not signify the end of the spiritual journey observed during Ramadan, but rather its continuation in everyday life.
This call resonates exactly what the revered cleric said, that celebrations should be done in modesty and decency.

He stated that some youth throws caution into the wind during the Salah festival which leads to disastrous consequences.
It is against this background that he is appealing to the youth to refrain from elaborate celebration.

“Our youth must celebrate the Salah in a modest way just like the advice the chief Imam gave us,” he noted.
