Ghanaian comedian DKB, born Derick Kobina Bonney, says President John Dramani Mahama will not order the arrest of citizens demonstrating against illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey. His comments follow an announcement by the Democracy Hub pressure group, led by activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor, of a planned anti-galamsey protest on September 22, with a vigil scheduled for September 21.
