Minister for Finance Cassiel Ato Forson is expected to present the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
The announcement was made by the Deputy Majority Leader, George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, during the presentation of the Business Statement for the week ending Friday, July 17, 2026.
The mid-year budget review will provide Parliament with an update on the implementation of the 2026 Budget, including revenue performance, expenditure, economic indicators, and any proposed adjustments to fiscal targets for the remainder of the year.
Hon Ricketts-Hagan also announced that five Ministers of State and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana are scheduled to appear before Parliament to answer 27 questions from Members of Parliament.
The ministers expected to appear are the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation, the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Minister for Transport.
